Well, Bongo` was nice enough to look into this and find the text and font routines for this game. Contrary to a lot of people in the scene's belief, this puppy has no compression it seems and we are thumbs up and good to go now with that. I have wanted to sink my teeth into this one ever since I first started translations and to know I could have all along if I just knew the way the text was stored kills me. However, now I can and that is good enough for me. This is a game by Climax Software. The same ones that did Landstalker. And for the most part most of the same employees behind Alundra by Working Designs and Matrix software. it sports arguably some of the BEST graphics for an action RPG on the SNES. In fact, SoM and Seiken Densetsu 3 (SoM 2) are the only ones that can touch it. If you liked Landstalker (and if you didn't your nuts) you're going to go ape over this one when its done.
