The game I've been doing lately, namely DoaE-2, isn't really my cup of tea (yes, I actually almost hate DoaE-2). That's why I'm so happy to finally have another project I can really sink my teeth into. I'm a HUGE Ranma fan. We are talking HUGE! And I've had this game for some time. I've always enjoyed the music. That diddy which is playing on this page right now is one of my top 10 all time game favorites. If for no other reason I always wanted to do this game because the music alone makes it deserve it. That isn't the best part though, its Ranma too and thats even better. Now if only it were an RPG.

This is also my first attempt at an ASM patch. The games font was compressed. It isn't anymore though :). The font isn't the one that will wind up in the final game however. I also had to do some assembly to edit the title screen. The Aseembly though is almost done and the game is about to go off to the translator, (update: Faraday has disappeared again and this project is in dire need of translation support). There doesn't seem to be any suprises in store (Spoke to soon here, lots of control codes. Scripts need redumping but that is fast and simple if I get a translator to tackle them). Expansion is simple and already set to go, so space isn't a concern either. This looks to be a good and easy translation, if there is such a thing, now that most of the technical stuff is done.

How about some screens eh? Note that nothing is translated so what you see is merely test stuff, except for the title.

Only test screens, but will be real translation screens soon

STATUS: Translation complete, hacking under way.
