Translation Corporation has produced and released a 100% patch for Wozz.

Akujin constructed the first known patch for Wozz, which kindled the translation and game playing community's interest in seeing this Japanese-only release produced in English. Thus, back in the day, we added it to our library of projects.

Now, after years of pursuing other interests, I am pleased to note that Nightcrawler's Translation Corporation has finished the work. Recalling Akujin's words when we created our "Wozz" page some years ago, he said "I recently found this patch again and decided there might be others out there who would like to check it out. It's a fairly good game. Definitely a game worth playing through, especially if you can read the dialogue which is hilarious in places. Akujin went on to add, "...if a skilled group decides to fully translate this game someday I would love to help out.

Well, that's exactly what happened. TransCorp met the challenge, so I downloaded their patch and have played the game through several towns. Akujin's words were spot on. The game is a riot! And this reminds me of what I believed in 1997, that everything should be about the games and never about the people, except to praise those who work their butts off and share the fruits. Hats off to TransCorp!

Translation Corporations's v1.0 English patch may be downloaded from their Wozz page here.
